Day to day life at the radio tower.
Dream Traveler, Day 25.
It's a montage of sleep --> work --> food --> mental socialization --> repeat! Kind of boring but positive because Regina remembers that she likes this sort of organized schedule and is more likely to keep a very monotonous schedule as a result.
Colorful, bright, full of emotion. (Post-removal.)
Rotten, Day 28.
Regina wakes up from a deep sleep, and realizes the world looks...brighter. While she can no longer hear the whispers and laughter of her brothers and sisters at the radio tower, she feels so much freer. In fact, she's essentially woken up from a segment of powerful mind control.
Basically this memory is her marveling in the fact that food tastes good! Grass is really, really green! She's happy and she feels powerful and like she can overcome anything and no one has to tell her what to do! This is the first time she's had emotions like this since before she can remember, at least a good 15ish years, so it's like watching a five year old at Disney World, only the setting is a pseudo-sterile camp infirmary and so everything is kind of boring and industrial. But it doesn't matter because she's human!! Look at that!
Well, sort of human but schematics!!
The doctor comes in and tells her that she's very lucky -- to survive reversing the powerful mind control that Ro-Tech uses isn't easy, and while the percentage who survive is high (about 50%), she basically just flipped a coin with her life and doesn't that make her special. He has to tell her to sit down several times, and even though she isn't talkative -- she still doesn't really understand the "talking" thing because she hasn't had to in so long -- she is very animated and excited, and also annoyed that this stupid doctor wants her to sit down some more.
Effects:
• Unlocked: Regina's ability to express genuine happiness! She will now be much more emotive and excited.
• Unlocked: Knowledge of the name Ro-Tech, the place that she worked for.
• Unlocked: Knowledge that they were mind controlling her :( And suppressing her emotions and desires! And even her tastes, so that kind of sucks. . .
• Unlocked: Knowledge that she used to be pretty human before, but it went away. And that some of the skills she had at home were because of a collective consciousness.
• Also she is definitely a transhuman at the very least, some sort of subset of human!
